|Description||Water diversion headgate for placer and hydraulic mining operations run by the Gold Pan Mining Company and Machine Shops, near the southern outskirts of the town of Breckenridge, Colorado. The nearly four mile long Maggie Ditch/Gold Pan Ditch and connecting pipeline brought water from Indiana Gulch, Pennsylvania Gulch, and the Blue River. Gold Pan Company manager George H.
